About Us
A Latte Fun Indoor Playground & Cafe is the
dream and now reality of local mother of FOUR, Leigh Kendall.
After taking a break from the Corporate world to stay home
with babies 3 & 4, Leigh quickly realized Two things:
1) Mom & babies NEEDED to get out of the house daily (to
maintain sanity) and 2) there were no places that she could
take her preschooler & Infant where mom and children could
be equally happy & comfortable. She loved being able to
be with her children but also longed for the days when she
could enjoy a cup of coffee, read the paper, get a little
freelance work done on the computer or have a conversation
with another adult and, get this- FINISH A SENTENCE!
That's when Leigh got to work. With endless encouragement
from her husband Clint, she compiled a list of the DREAM spot
(with input from other moms)- Great coffee drinks, tasty,
healthy bites to eat, comfortable sofas & chairs, WIFI,
good music and cozy decor in a convenient, air-conditioned
location with plenty to keep the children busy, clean, happy
and safe.
Then to keep the children happy & busy- All the climbing,
sliding, riding, swinging, jumping and pretending they could
ever imagine inside a 4000 sq. ft. carpeted and supervised
play area. Filled with things like- a large inflatable slide,
trampoline, foam pit, climbable "lighthouse", reading
corner, separate infant/crawler area, Pretend area w/kitchen,
market & dress up, and lots of toys to build, sort, ride,
create and play. A year, and countless hours of work from
so many wonderful people, later, A Latte Fun Indoor Playground
& Cafe was open!
In a nutshell, regardless of the weather outside, kids have
a blast, burn off some of that abounding energy and the grown-ups
can either get right in there & play along or sit back
and have a great cup of coffee, adult conversation, catch
up on a little reading or just enjoy a bit of relaxation.
Trained playground supervisors welcome the children and direct
them in interactive, creative & safe play.
Socks are required for both kids and adults so that
everyone leaves as clean as they arrive!
As a courtesy to all guests, if children are exhibiting signs
of illness, please stay home, get well and come another day!
